Alexandra Maria Lara has been a German/Romanian television actress for more than a decade. Alexandra is known for parts in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. The only child of Romanian actors Valentin Platareu, Alexandra started her professional career in the show business in the early years of her life. By the time she reached the age of 16, Alexandra had landed the leading roles in numerous television dramas. She was praised for her performance on Der Tunnel. This paved the way to other memorable parts, such as Adolf Hitler's Secretariat Traudl Junge. The Reader is another Oscar nominated film featuring this divas. Alexandra was associated with numerous important projects both locally and internationally. This includes the British biographical films Control Greek dramatic film The Dust of Time French historical Miniseries Napoleon, amongst others. She was also part of the jury for the Transylvania International Film Festival, and at Cannes Film Festival.
