Alex Guarnaschelli

Guarnaschelli is the daughter Guarnaschelli's cookbook editor Maria Guarnaschelli and John Guarnaschelli. Guarnaschelli graduated from Barnard College in 1991 with the degree of art historian. In 1991 , she was employed for an hourly wage at a place named an American Place for one year. Guarnaschelli began her cooking journey in the kitchen of her mother, watching her prepare and editing cookbooks. Guarnaschelli started her career working under Larry Forgione. Her son Marc Forgione was the Iron Chef. Guarnaschelli then went on to work at various restaurants in France and Los Angeles. Guy Savoy manages La Butte Chaillot. Before joining Butter She worked as executive chef in the Patina restaurant, owned by Daniel Boulud and at Joachim Splichal's Patina. She was executive chef at The Darby restaurant, which closed in the summer of 2003. She serves as chairperson of the Museum of Food and Drink's Culinary Council. Guarnaschelli released her first cookbook in the year 2013. "Old Home Comfort Food: What I learned to Cook" comprises the author's autobiographical details and her favorite recipes developed by Guarnaschelli during her professional experience. Alex Alex Alex
